The Bottom Line
The ROCCAT Vulcan Pro is an excellent gaming keyboard. It is available in a smaller TenKeyLess size. It comes with exclusive ROCCAT Titan Linear Optical switches with a short pre-travel time. Vulcan Pro is lightweight for a fast gaming experience. It is constructed well, with all RGB backlighting that shines through the translucent switches. There is the possibility of certain reprogramming keys; however, not every key can be programmed in a macro which could be a disappointment. It is worth noting that the ROCCAT Swarm program is available for Windows and lets you modify the backlighting and set macros. It’s ergonomically pleasing, and typing feels well. However, it could require some time to get familiar with the shape of the keys, and the lack of pre-travel could increase the number of typos.
